To play independently on a golf course, it is necessary to pass an exam to obtain a “Playing Permit,” which allows autonomous play on City and Competition courses.
The main goal of the license is to show that you have mastered the basics of golf skills , ethics and behavior on the field and practice area, as well as basic knowledge related to golf rules.
The fee for taking the exam to obtain a Gambling License is €90.00 per person. ( VAT is included in the price )
The price includes playing 9 holes on the City Playground, professional guidance and an exam related to ethics and golf rules
All participants who have completed the beginner and advanced Promo Golf School enjoy a 50% discount for 365 days from the time they take the exam to play at the City Golf Course.
The “Gaming License” exam must be passed no later than 6 months after completing the Advanced Course, or by the end of the current year. If the exam is not passed within the deadline, the Advanced Course must be taken again.
IMPORTANT!
- GOING to the City Playground without a Play Permit:
Going out and playing at the City Playground is permitted for Academy participants with a Playing Permit, and/or Academy participants without a Playing Permit if they have completed the advanced level and registered for the Playing Permit exam.
After a participant’s request to play before passing the Play Permit, the Academy leader, with the prior consent of the instructor, approves the exit to the City Playground.
- EXIT to the Competition Field
Going out and playing on the Competition Course is only allowed to golfers with an HCP Index. Upon arrival at the Reception, players must show their HCP index status – through the App and/or on the cards they have in some European countries.
- Academy participants, after passing the Game Permit, should confirm the HCP by playing in tournaments organized at the City Playground or by playing a round with players who have a confirmed HCP (ask at the Reception about how to play outside of the tournament).
(exceptionally, in cases where it is not possible to play a handicap round at the City Course, a 9-hole game at the Competition Course may be approved with an instructor or a partner who already has a handicap index lower than 36)
- Confirmation of HCP status from the Club is not sufficient for playing on the Competition Course.
- Students who enroll in the golf school at the Academy are required to take the Golf License exam within 6 months of completing the Advanced Course.
If they do not do this, they will need to re-enroll in the Advanced Golf Course.
If the student does not continue their education after the initial golf school within 6 months, they are required to re-enroll in the initial course.
